Morgans Wonderland
AccessAbility participated in Kinetic Kids “Try It Before You Buy It” event held @ Morgans
Wonderland on April 23, 2010. Children were able to try various equipt at the event (walkers, wheelchairs etc) and participate
in lotsa fun!
The Arc of San Antonio
Lizette Davis, OTR, CAPS discussed adaptive equipt, DME, and simple to complex home modifications during
an in-service at the Arc of San Antonio. The Arc is a place where people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities
can be part of their community, learn new skills and have fun with their friends. The case mgmt team was truly sincere
and very informative. What a great community we have!
Any Baby Can
Lizette provided an in-service to Any Baby Can on simple to complex home modifications for increased
independence in the home. Any Baby Can helps families & children born with chronic illness and with complex medical
& special needs with resources and many beneficial programs. The staff was truly caring & very welcoming.

Elf Luis
Dec 19, 2009 - We went on a fun Elf Luis journey to distribute presents to families in San Antonio.
Elf Luis was set up at the Old Mervyns at South Park Mall where our team began its journey. We are blessed to be a part
of such a wonderful community.


AccessAbility Fest
Oct 11, 2009 - Occupational Therapist, Lizette Davis provided a presentation at 4:30 pm on simple home modifications
to increase independence at this wonderful community event. The AccessAbility fest recognizes Oct as Disability Awareness
month.
Multiple Sclerosis
Oct 14, 2009 - Lizette Davis, OTR spoke at the Multiple Sclerosis support group and presented simple home
modifications and adaptive equipment to increase independence. This was an enjoyable event as she was able to visit
with some wonderful participants.
Certified Aging in Place Specialist
Recent completion of multiple courses offered in Houston by the National Association of Home Builders earned Mrs.
Davis a Certificate as an Aging in Place Specialist. This specialized course is the only designation program in
the country dedicated to improving the knowledge of remodelers who want to help others remain safe and independent in their
homes as they age.
First Friday Network Group
First Friday consists of business professionals who perform services predominantly for senior citizens.
AccessAbility Home Modifications is a new member to this organization and gave a brief presentation about how modifying ones
home enables a person to age in their own home safely and increase independence.
